Louise grew up in Hong-Kong and Greece, and came to England in 1995 to study Osteopathy for four years at the British School of Osteopathy.
She graduated in 1999 and moved to West Yorkshire to take over from Robbie and Amos in two busy practices, while they were travelling. During this time, she gained valuable experience treating a wide cross section of patients suffering a variety of injuries and complaints. In 2004, after a period of travelling, she joined Robbie and Amos as a partner in the Ilkley Osteopathic Practice.
Louise was drawn towards Osteopathy as a result of her mother having Osteopathic treatment for a variety of problems, and “raving” about the very positive results, and the unique approach Osteopathy provided her as an individual.
Louise’s own interest in sport and led her to look further into a career in Osteopathy, which would encompass working with the human body, but with a holistic and preventative treatment approach, thus enabling the patient to take control of their own body and therefore maintain good health.
She is currently enjoying Pilates as it brings a balance to her swimming and running.
