Amos chose a career in Osteopathy as he had successful Osteopathic treatment for a dislocated shoulder. He graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He then returned home to West Yorkshire and worked as an associate in 2 osteopathic practices. In 1999 he went travelling for a year and returned to Yorkshire in 2001 to set up the Ilkley Osteopathic Practice with his wife, Robbie.
Amos treats a wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions across all age groups. He is a keen cyclist.
